“The Silver Award is bestowed on books that expertly deliver complex characters, intricate worlds, and thought provoking themes. The ease with which the story is told is a reflection of the author’s talent in exercising fluent, powerful and appropriate language.”
I sit here, writing this and the only thing running through my mind is, “but it’s still not perfect.”
The thing is, it will never be perfect. I piece out sections for excerpts and I cringe because I want to change this word, or take that phrase out, or… stop. It will never be perfect in my eyes, but I am pleased, surprised, giddy, tearing up, that someone thought the SECOND VERSION is worthy of such praise.
Stick that in your hat Podium Cafe.
