I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. I love it for its inspiration. I’m inspired by the images – people, places, things – but also by the stories that are told with images. While writing #Wheeler, I’d often look at my super-secret Pinterest board if I got stuck, or hit the ‘Quotes’ board for some ideas. ‘Cause there’s only so many Shakespeare quotes. If you turn to page 482 of my book, you’ll see how obscure I had to get.
I loathe Pinterest for its ability to keep my ADHD brain from doing things I’m supposed to be doing – like my actual job. Or sleeping.
I saw this today in my home feed, thanks to S. Alex Martin@thescalex, author of #Embassy. I’ll admit, I haven’t read the book. It made it to the ‘vacation’ list though, whenever I actually take a vacation. That’s how I was introduced to Orson Scott Card @orsonscottcard.
Thankfully, I read fast.
